The Hoodoos are quite fascinating to see. When I went more than 20 years ago for the first time (I was a child back then) I was truly amazed by them. Today I find it sad to see that it is necessary to build metal structures and smaller fences to keep tourists from destroying this feature of nature. It was quite busy at the Hoodoos but they are still worth a visit.
Wow wow wow we cant stop saying wow!! We loved Hoodoos. We climbed up and look down the parking lot. We love it!! We would love to come back again in the future.
Wooden ramps and stairs are built now in the area to reduce traffic on the hoodoos directly. Small gravel parking lot with a food truck/ ice cream stand & portapotties on site. Only a few spots where you can take a picture without the walkways in view unless you walk up higher. Erosion either because of natural or human impact on the area is quite significant compared to when I saw these last about 9 years ago when there was no one there but us. This time 2 tour buses and a full parking lot of cars. Hopefully the hoodoos won't continue to lose their natural beauty.
very scenic! i would suggest to wait for the beautiful sunset. It is very picturesque during sunset. I've been to this place in 4 seasons--I wont advice going on the spring season (when it is not totally dry) hoodoos are mud like during spring and is very slippery. Summer to fall is the best time to visit.
The actual hoodoos attraction was pretty small and easy to miss. Worth a visit if you're close by.
