What can I say about this place? first off as far as I know they have excellent home made fries and poutine to boot. The next time I come back to my favorite spot in Alberta for something to eat. I will be honored to challenge the Mammoth Burger and have them excellent Milkshakes. So to those who are travelling and seeking a place to eat, relax, and try something cool to eat. I recommend this place for any tourist, traveller, or perhaps a friend in town to come on there and enjoy there food ^^
Went to check it out as it was featured on "You gotta eat here". They have burgers, and a long list of flavours for milk shakes. One burger that's worthy of mentioning is a 24 ounce burger... probably good for a few people. I didn't try the burgers, as my group were there for shakes. We tried a few flavours of milk shakes, and their shakes are good. I'd recommend a visit to Bernie and the boys bistro if you are in the area....You can mix 2 flavors for the shakes, which makes an even longer list of flavor choices!... recommended.
Where to begin? From the moment we walked through the doors, we were met with a fun atmosphere and friendly service. Our kids enjoyed a grilled ham and cheese sandwich while my husband and I were thrilled with the Steve's dad burger and the Christy burger. After enjoying our meal, we could not help but be tempted by the Blair witch project wings but seeing as we had a few hour drive ahead of us, we decided to order them to go. I'll admit, I scoffed slightly at the fact we had to sign a waiver, I mean, how hot could they possibly be? We often order the hottest wings restaurants have to offer and are almost always left disappointed. Well, these wings DO NOT disappoint. My mouth is on fire while I write this, but I'm tempted to have another because not only are they hot as heck, they are absolutely delicious.Next time we are in the area, we will absolutely be back, and we are looking forward to challenging the wings again!Such a great experience, I highly recommend!!
My wife saw this restaurant on the T. V. show "You Gotta Eat Here." she told me about the mammoth burger she saw. It was so good and very big. It lasted for 2 and a half meals for the both of us. The bun had its own flavor which complemented the seasoned beef. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to try something out of the ordinary. I also saw on their menus that you have to be over 18 years old and sign a waiver to eat their hot hot hot wings. I think they call them the Blair which wings. Now that sounds scary.
Came and had supper with great expectations. The burger itself was amazing, the sauces were incredibly salty, unfortunately. We also ordered the poutine as well and it too was very salty. We did arrive about 1 hour before closing and perhaps the sauces were simmering throughout the day. The service was second to none. Will try again on another trip and earlier in the day for lunch to test our theory.
