My brother, sister in law, and their kids stayed here and I was with them when they checked in and first saw their room. It seemed nice enough. Clean, spacious, and comfortable. The location is convenient for seeing the museum and other such dinosaur-related things in Drumheller.
The rooms were great,clean and I would stay here again. The only bad thing I could say about my stay is. We arrived about 2:20, when check in is clearly posted for 3:00, and was told that there was nothing ready. He told us to come back a 3:00, but not right at 3 as it would be more busy then and we might not get a room right away. Not sure if they would be ready by then. Being a Wyndham rewards member, I expect better reception than that. Very thrown back.
It is possibly the best you will get in such a small town. Rooms were clean but our air conditioning was broken. It was constantly set at 18C. They were nice enough to offer a room change but we had setup the kids and preferred to stay in the same place with a portable heater provided by the hotel. The pool slide was fun for younger children and the gym seemed pretty well equipped. Boston Pizza, McDonald's and an Irish pub with pretty good steak sandwich are walking distance from the hotel. Breakfast had some hot items available so for one night stay is pretty OK
Great clean rooms with a fantastic pool and water slide! Our kids loved it! We also loved the popcorn in the lobby! Would definitely stay here again!!
We were welcomed warmly at the front desk and enjoyed our stay overall at the hotel and Drumheller. What was concerning was the lack of cleanliness in our room. It was not clean each of the three nights we stayed. I have photos if the general manager would like to contact me to see and discuss. I would stay again but I feel the housekeeping department needs help and direction.
