Very pleased with my stay at Heartwood In & Spa. The staff were very nice, our room was spacious, very pretty, and cost for our romantic get away. They allowed us to check in early, and were very welcoming. Would stay here again anytime. Thank you for a lovely evening away. :)
I honestly wish you didnt have to put one star to write a review, I wouldnt even give this place a one star. By far the worst service I have ever had. This is the first time that I am writing a review and doing so because I felt I needed to inform other people about how rude the service was. We had gone on a long camping trip in BC and decided to stop on our way back home in Alberta for a few nights and relax, we ended up making it into town very late (we even called and wanted to cancel for Monday night because we knew we wouldnt be there in time), but they were fully booked so we informed him that we wouldnt be there until around 4-5am and he never had a problem with that. When we did arrive in town, we parked in front of the inn and called to let him know we arrived and if we were able to get into our room, he informed us that nobody would be able to let us into our room until after 7am - which was fine - WE WERE WILLING TO WAIT TO BE LET INTO OUR ROOM THEN! He proceeded to be very ignorant and yell at us on the phone and telling us how mad he was that we made it to town at that hour - even after we told him we were willing to wait! I have never had such a horrible, rude customer service experience. Be aware! I would never recommend this overly priced waste.
I took my wife to this little gem of a place for our 3rd honeymoon. The hosts were very nice and informative about the area. They were very accommodating as well when they gave me a discount for our anniversary. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to leave the big city behind and just ralax.
Our room was upgraded for free to the upper turret. The room was clean and spacious, and the jacuzzi tub was lovey. There was a separate entrance close to the parking area which was great. We did not participate in breakfast due to dietary restrictions but it smelled really good. The inn is within walking distance of the downtown area as well as other restaurants. The gentleman at the front desk was very helpful and provided great tips for exploring the area and avoiding peak busy times. I would recommend this inn to friends and family traveling to Drumheller and look forward to my next stay.
BEST SLEEP IN AGES. Extremely comfy bed, lovely Jacuzzi in The Cottage, beautiful and quaint. Also a couple dino's to take pictures with outside in the garden . They offer some lovely Romance packages if you would like to pamper your significant other! Hosts were very kind and accommodating. Did I mention, I haven't slept this well in ages! Room has A/C, TV with cable, fridge, toiletries, couch, beautiful area for with Jacuzzi tub. Patrice also offered a breakfast tray and to make herbal tea for me when I was feeling run down from traveling. Awesome :)
