Nice place to go camping. Drumheller in general is very nice. The campground here has trees which is nice, but the spots with power and water feel a bit cramped. If you are tenting and don't need utilities then I would recommend getting a spot near the back of the campground, the spots there have a lot more room

The spot was nice but smaller than most others but it's no big deal. The weather and sunset was gorgeous over the badlands landscape. The river water is murky but you can fish. It's fun and the pool is fun for kids, there's a large field to play sports in and other assorted amenities/events. Good place! Super expensive per night though.

Best family campground we have ever gone to. Two playgrounds on opposite ends of the grounds. Swimming pool. Horseshoe pits, ladder golf, had ice cream social, pancake breakfast and movie night when we were there. Also have family bingo later in the week.It sits right on the Red Deer river, take a minute to walk down and check out the best climbing tree in Alberta. The prices were on par with other camp sites and they have a mix of of full service and partially serviced lots. Tent sites are as well as many old growth trees which is a rarity in Alberta campgrounds. They have on site laundry facilities, a well stocked general store and lots of bathrooms throughout. A speed limit of 8km throughout and one way traffic make it incredibly safe for kids riding bikes and playing. We have decided to make this our regular campground as it has something for everyone. As well drumheller itself has lots for families, a dinosaur museum, indoor/outdoor pool with water slide, and lots of small Finland parks with bumper boats and mini golf. Finally dont forget to check out the mini donut food truck parked below the worlds largest dinosaur.

Fantastic campground to take your family. Very friendly staff and very accommodating. They had a fun Halloween event in August where all the kids got to dress up and collect candy. Lots of services to make your trip easier; Propane, full hookups, wifi, pool, convenience store and walking trails to name a few. Only complaint would be the roads and stalls within the park are low on gravel and have become quite dusty during dry periods, but not that big of a deal!

Very clean camp ground! The staff are very friendly and helpful. They hold nightly events for kids such as a movie night with fresh popped.popcorn and drinks. The site has a heated pool which is older but well maintained. The campsites themselves are varied depending on what you need , from no services and big enough for tents to large enough with water, sewer, and power to accommodate a massive RV. Prices are reasonable and easy to book online. We have been going here for 3 years and will continue!
