Lots of thing to do
Best place to swim in the river in Drumheller. There are picknick tables, and a nice field. Some walking trails are also nearby. Only problem is I couldn't seem to find change rooms or washrooms near the boat launch.
Needs work
It's the only beach and Drumheller that they have available to the public it's not horrible it's a nice place to go on a hot day when there's nowhere else to go LOL but I'm not going to lie for a place that likes to call it Newcastle Beach Recreation they need to at least have porta potties or out houses of some sort in my mind if you're going to claim this spot as a beach especially where a lot of kids like to come and play then there should be porta potties or an outhouse don't matter but it's a great place 4 tubing and they do give you a boat access to the river for your canoes and everything had fun here every time I come to Drumheller I always come here the only disappointment is no bathrooms LOL
Don't get your hopes up for a nice beach area. Ok to check out, nothing to great.
