The view is beautiful. It's almost suddenly. The way that the prairies give way to the Badlands. Almost magical as if a curtain was pulled off. There is places to buy souvenirs, fill up on your water bottles before starting to hike and go to the washrooms as there are no such amenities when you are hiking. Be mindful of the delicate ecosystems in the Badlands. Keep all your garbage with you until you can dispose of it and please ensure they you do not take any fossils out of the area in which they were found. This place is a national treasure and the fines for not following the posted rules are quite high.

One of the largest Dino museum. Well maintained and exhibits with much details. If you are interested it may take atleast couple of visits to see all of them. The museum people are doing a great work.

It's an interesting place to see, and probably a good one-time tourist destination. There's a lot of history here, and trails to explore and bones to find. The landscape is pretty unique. I wouldn't drive for a long time just to explore this area, but it's good if you're already in the vicinity.

Nice little rest area. Only one picnic bench. Information pathway is interesting to read about historic coal mining in the area.

Gorgeous place, very tourist friendly! Royal Tyrrell is a must visit if you are in the area. Drumhellar is a great little town, worth the trip!
